French and Italian Riviera 7 Day Crewed Motor Yacht Itinerary

Read our 7 day itinerary between the French and Italian Riviera. This itinerary covers our most popular and sought after destinations across our charter destinations. It combines fine dining, pictureque fishing towns, vibrant nightlife and fantastic cruising views! We have a sample 7 day itinerary to highlight all the exciting destinations to visit on your charter.

Day 1: Antibes

Embark from Antibes, one of the largest and most impressive ports in Europe. The old town is quaint and full of boat enthusiasts throughout the summer. Mooch around the cobbled streets and take a peek into the Picasso museum, then stroll along the port to see the castle at sunset. Dine at the infamous Michelangelo restaurant where celebrities flock from far and wide to taste the Italian cuisine; this is shown by the images on the wall of countless A-listers such as Beyoncé, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. Spend the afternoon in Les Iles de Lérins, islands off Cannes where the water is dazzling blue making the perfect swimming or snorkeling location away from the chaos of the beaches.

Day 2: Antibes to Monaco

For those feeling energetic take an early morning stroll around Cap d’Antibes, taking in the views of La Garoupe and Billionaire's Bay with the breathtaking houses and secluded lagoons. Cruise over to Villefranche, a picturesque yet remote town with an idyllic beach. Admire the colourful fishing town either from your yacht or on foot, then stop for a coffee or crêpe to ‘people watch’. Get your adrenaline pumping in the afternoon doing water sports in the bay of Beaulieu, race behind your yacht on the boat's equipment and admire the stunning scenery. Berth in Yacht Club de Monaco where the glitz and glamour really is all its cracked up to be. End the night with a delightful dinner at Nobu, and if you don’t want the night to end move onto Buddha bar where the vibe is funky and the atmosphere is unrivalled.

Day 3: Monaco

You’re in Monaco; naturally you need to lunch in Café de Paris! This is a perfect spot to sit and absorb your surroundings, with the Hotel de Paris and the Monte Carlo Casino circling you. Spend the afternoon shopping in high-end stores to spruce up your wardrobe so you look the part in this elite area of the world. There are a wide variety of things to do whatever the weather; for example if you are with family you can visit the Oceanography museum and the royal palace. Berth in Yacht Club de Monaco to enjoy the chef’s delights followed by trying your hand at the Casino then hope to spend your winnings in the evening. Spend the night at Twiga popping bottles of champagne and dancing the night away with your friends at this exclusive nightclub. If you are looking for a tamer night there are various events such as an open-air cinema throughout the summer, which provides a spectacular night.

Day 4: Monaco to Varazze

It’s time to head to the next country! Cruise from Monaco into Italian waters with lunch in Loano. The beautiful coastline will leave everyone awestruck with the sparkling waters and impressive cliffs looming as you gently pass by. Make a splash with the water sports equipment past Finale Ligure where you can zip behind on the donut or try a new hobby on the Jet Ski. Berth in Varazze to experience the delights in this quaint Italian Town, it is very Avant Guard for the Liguarian region. Take a sip on an Aperol Spritz at Fritto Misto for a true Italian experience with cultural cuisine.

Day 5: Varazze to Portofino

Explore the culture and history in Portofino

Relax during the morning cruise to Portofino, this talked about town is as beautiful as the postcards and is a ‘can’t miss’ when cruising in this area. The port is exclusive and gorgeous with the best looking boats cruising in and out all summer. Anchoring off Santa Margherita for breakfast is the perfect start to the morning, a picture perfect town with pastel coloured houses; what was once a fishing village is now a popular destination for yachts. If you feel like the challenge, hike to the Church of St Giorgio where you will not even realize you’re out of breath when you are embracing the panoramic views. Enjoy lunch in the port of Portofino to take in the atmosphere and the buzzing vibe of the glamour and happiness. How else would you finish the day other than with sundowners on the Hotel Splendido terrace to enjoy the world famous Peach Bellini and dinner.

Day 6: Portofino to Santa Margherita

The picturesque Portofino HarbourSpend the morning exploring Santa Margherita, admiring the ocean hills and magnificent quaint hotels. There are endless options for drinks by the port or in the backstreets of the town to get a real feel of the town from the heart of the history. The beaches are truly beautiful, splash around and then relax reading your book for a therapeutic afternoon. The vivid colors of the houses and the various historical monuments make the town a real Italian gem with the welcoming Italian people and array of activities to engage in whilst here. Be sure to sample the finest Italian gelato and Italy’s best Pesto!

Day 7: Santa Margarita to Cannes

Make sure to visit Club 55 in St Tropez

The end is near so thoroughly enjoy your last day as you are in for a treat! Time for a morning cruise to Monaco then an exclusive helicopter transfer down to St Tropez. How is that for arriving in style? Lunch at Club 55, the only place to be seen in St Tropez! The vibe is exhilarating and you will feel completely content here basking in the sun, sipping cocktails and nibbling on delicious snacks. Step into the shade for the afternoon discovering the boutiques where you can purchase little gifts to make you nostalgic about this deisrable holiday. Time to savor your last moments with the yacht and berth in the Vieux Port de Cannes.
